"It's incredible," Rumer Willis told Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson after the show, as she and pro-partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy held their golden mirrorball trophies. "It's one of the most incredible feelings ever.
"I feel like I was almost in shock when they said our names, because more than even for myself, I wanted this for him so badly," Rumer added, referring to Val's first ever mirrorball win. "I've done this once, but he's done this so many times.
"You deserve it so unbelievably much and I'm so proud to be the one that's standing here [with you]," Rumer said, looking at Val.
The pair came out of the gate in Week 1, looking like frontrunners, but Val admitted to Shaun he doubts.
"We believed in ourselves, but I don't think I've ever thought that [it was] actually possible," Val said.
As the pair say goodbye to dancing, Rumer said she was proud to have shared a stage with her fellow competitors, Riker Lynch and Allison Holker, and Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess.
"Until you hear your name called, it's anybody's game. Everyone who competed and was standing there with us tonight was amazing, was incredible and I just feel lucky to be able to have stood here with them," she said.
